Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to work in the Virginia Beach area. Job Summary/Purpose

:
Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, NP/PA, RN, or LPN. Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification or registration preferred.

Experience: One year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Licensure: BLS CPR required.

Additional Information :
Candidates must have strong clinical skills and be able to work independently and together with a physician. Prior experience in phlebotomy, injections, and patient triage preferred. Hospital Corpsman will be considered.
