HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
SKILLED TRADES NEEDED Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads is working on government-funded residential construction projects. The following work may be available: Sitework - Foundations - Roofing- Plumbing - Electrical - HVAC - Carpentry - Siding - Windows. Habitat will utilize qualified businesses/persons who permanently reside in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, or Virginia Beach, and Sec. 3 qualified businesses and minority/female owned businesses/contractors. Residents with household incomes below 80% of the Area Median Income ($58,650/household of 4/Sec. 3 qualified residents) are encouraged to apply. Submit a written request within 15 days of this notice: state name, phone, address, service, at least 2 references, DPOR license#, evidence of worker's comp & liability insurance, qualifications for minority/female owned.
