Virginia Zoo - Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is a member of the Education Department and is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Virginia Zoo volunteer programs. Volunteers, also known as the ‘Zoo Crew,’ include Docents, Junior Docents, B.E.A.R.S. (Behavior, Enrichment and Animal Resource Squad), Horticulture, Education Interns, Special Events and other episodic volunteers and groups. Position requires weekend work schedule.
