Duties and Responsibilities
Virginia International Terminals is seeking to fill an Application Analyst position. The candidate will report to the Chief Information Officer with the responsibility to provide analysis and support for stand-alone and integrated back-office applications, identify and redesign inefficient processes, transforming them into efficient practices, and manage application upgrade projects.

Candidate Requirements
Summary of Qualifications This position must have a strong background in business process reengineering, application analysis and development, and project management. The candidate must have demonstrated experience bringing projects to conclusion on time and within budget. The candidate will also provide support for advanced features associated with the Microsoft Office productivity suite, and possess excellent communications skills. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree. Experience with Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work one-on-one with executive-level staff and management team to educate and facilitate the use of office productivity systems. Data integration skills. Business process reengineering and project management experience. Excellent communication skills. PREFERRED: Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge and skills. Business Process Reengineering experience. Project Management experience. Excellent presentation skills.
