Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to the Accounting Supervisor for providing administrative support for the Accounting Department with its functional needs. Responsible for balancing the Out of Balance (Suspense) accounts on a daily basis and investigating outages. Verifying check totals from daily work for all branches to the general ledger Cash Account, packaging the Accounts Payable checks and remittances to be mailed to vendors. Processes all Travelers Checks and Gift Cheques through electronic transmission.

Work Hours: Working hours range from 8:00am - 5:00pm (Part-time 20-30 hours).

Salary: Hourly

Candidate Requirements
Summary of Qualifications Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00. Candidates will have a knowledge of basic accounting principles and a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Candidates must have a good credit history for consideration.
Desired Education: High School Diploma
