Duties and Responsibilities
Working with Individuals who have an intellectual or developmental disability by taking people out into the community, engaging individuals in activities, helping the person with personal care, keeping their home clean and spending time with someone while sharing common interests. In-Home staff goes to a family home and assist the individual and their family, duties are very case specific. Paid training.

Work Hours: Mostly evenings. All positions require weekend work.

Salary: $8.00 per hour for Residential and $9.00 per hour for In-Home.

Candidate Requirements
Summary of Qualifications High School diploma or GED, 21 years or older, valid Virginia driver's license with no more than -4 points, cannot have a been convicted of a barrier crime. Good work ethic, must arrive on time and be committed to all shifts accepted. Willingness to learn, very active, able to engage others, positive attitude, along with some cooking and cleaning skills needed.
Desired Education: GED / High School Equivalency
Relevant Experience: Human Services
