Grand Furniture began as a small, one-store operation in downtown Norfolk, in 1947. Founded by Rose Stein, and assisted by her two sons, Grand quickly gained the reputation as a store where customers could get both quality home furnishings at an honest value and a place where our team could build a career. These factors are the cornerstone upon which Grand Furniture has grown. Today, the 3rd generation continues this tradition serving the Hampton Roads community. With six Grand Furniture newly redesigned showrooms, GFO, two Ashley HomeStores and exciting new retail concepts on the horizon, we’ll have a place for you and make you feel right at home. Warehouse Operations

Warehouse jobs at GrandBrands Furniture include all aspects of assembly and pre-delivery prep for locally based family owned business. We are currently seeking immediate full-time warehouse positions.

We offer career opportunities to reliable people with experience in these warehouse jobs:



Furniture Assembler

Furniture & Upholstery Repair Tech

Order Picker & Loader

Forklift Operator

Delivery Driver (non-CDL available)



Experience:



One year experience in furniture assembly, prepping, receiving, inventory, and other general warehouse duties preferred but not necessary.

Experience for Furniture & Upholstery Repair Tech:



Knowledge of the areas listed below is preferred, however if you have an artistic ability, concept of color theory, desire, and the right attitude, we can train you!


• Burn-ins
• Photo/Paper finishes
• Basic knowledge in upholstery and minor leather repairs.



Job Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds required. Must have excellent problem solving skills, ability to contribute positively to a team–oriented work environment, and a positive attitude. Pre–employment drug screening required.
