Our client, is seeking 3 Fabrication/Assembly Technician's for a long term to permanent position located in Norfolk, VA

*Steel toed boots are required*

Job Description:
• Fabricate parts to build specialized equipment.
• Fit pipes and parts together.
• Use various, machinery to include, but not limited to, drill press, belt sander, saw, and bench grinder.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Other work as assigned by management or required to support the Construction, Maintenance, and Production Departments.
• Confined Space work required in pressure vessels. (attachment includes dimensions and pictures)

Skills:
• Looking for someone with great mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Does not have to be forklift certified, but that would be ideal. Would still have to go through training for forklift even if certified.
• MUST have experience working in confined spaces in pressure vessels. These pressure vessels are free standing.

Shift/Hours:
• 1st Shift - (6:00am-2:00pm/4:00pm) - will work overtime, and looking for someone who would be flexible to possibly move to 2nd shift in the near future :
