This position may require candidate to obtain/maintain CONFIDENTIAL level clearance. Position may require some travel. Position work locations include Newport News and Virginia Beach. Prepares specifications from engineering change notices, customer specifications, and/or published data sheets. Maintains customer specifications files; reviews customer drawings and data; translates customer language into standard procedures and product flow. Basic Qualifications High School and 2 years additional education or relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: Electrical or mechanical experience gained on shipboard auxiliary systems is a plus. Job performance may require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Must be capable of climbing ladders, and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
