Seasonal Sales Clerk

The NEX is currently recruiting for candidates to fill a variety of seasonal Sales Associates for an array of departments including Electronics, Jewelry, Ladies, Cosmetics, Mens, Childrens, Shoes, Housewares and many more Job Summary: Sells general merchandise to customers exercising professional selling techniques. UP TO 40 hrs/week. MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY DURING HOLIDAY SEASON. Duties and Responsibilities: •Greets, and engages customers in conversation for purposes of providing sales related assistance. •Assists in the selection of merchandise, and suggests additional items to complement the customer's selections. •Communicates product-related information to customers knowledgeably and legibly. •Performs all types of cash register transactions (cash, charge, check, gift certificates, layaway, etc.) in an accurate and procedurally correct manner. •Handles customer returns and problems tactfully and efficiently. •Applies store policies consistently and intelligently, ensuring customer satisfaction as the end result. •Maintains a high level of awareness in assigned areas and offers excellent customer service to all patrons (internal and external) in order to deter theft. •Performs other related duties as assigned UP TO 40 hrs/week. MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY DURING HOLIDAY SEASON. Requirements Retail sales experience preferred.
