Position: Survey Worker 850200 VPC 1963 Portsmouth 8:00am-5:00pm Pay Rate: $13.82 Job Duties: Process Privately Owned Vehicles (POVs) from Dept. of Defense personnel being transferred into and out of the United States according to policies and procedures. Processing includes counseling/data verification-entry and assisting customers prior to and during processing. Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate credentials / background check as required by contract. Requirements: H.S. Diploma/GED plus 2 years relevant work experience in an administrative/customer service discipline. Annually attain acceptable score on Global VPC Administration exam. Valid, insurable driver’s license and operational familiarity with vehicles required. Mandatory overtime during peak season. Knowledgeable of Microsoft computer software. Fast paced, high performance work environment requiring detail orientation and good interpersonal & communication skills. Occasional lifting, no greater than 10 lbs. Standing, bending, walking, stooping, talking, listening. ****Candidates with disabilities, Rehab referrals or internal candidates only**** Position: Quality Assurance Rep II 850600 VPC 1962 Portsmouth Portsmouth 8:00am-5:00pm Pay Rate: $16.22 Job Duties: The Quality Assurance Representative II is expected to independently interpret damages and apply specification codes to a wide variety of standardized vehicles. Position requires a substantial knowledge of the methods and techniques of vehicle inspections. . To include: An in depth understanding of documented damage, initial appraisal recommendation of damages, and the ability to explain those documented damages to the customer. The incumbent shall make suggestions to the customer and the Site Assistant Project Manager referencing well-established methods and practices in meeting repairs requirements that will assist affected customers. All the work determines liability for costs for damage incurred and is critical to loss prevention and limits claims. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and 1 year relevant work experience. Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate credentials/background check as required by contract. Pass Global VPC Administration Exam within six months of hire. Valid, insurable Driver’s License is required. Able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Mandatory overtime is required during peak season. Detail oriented.
