Carpentry and Structural Specialist

HOUSING OPERATIONS/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT/CARPENTRY AND STRUCTURAL
Summary Performs skilled craft work in the maintenance, repair, modification and construction of buildings, including but not limited to the manufacture and installation of cabinets, counter tops, and doors; and structural work such as sheet work, concrete and block work. Performs sidewalk, driveway, and related concrete repairs and installations as assigned Constructs, repairs, and designs miscellaneous items such as wheelchair ramps, office furniture, table tops, and other items as directed. Maintains and submits accurate and complete work documentation.
Qualifications High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), and three to five years of progressively responsible basic carpentry, woodworking, cabinetry, and/or wood furniture manufacturing work; or any equivalent combination of education and experience to obtain required knowledge and skills. Valid and current driver's license is required. RAM Set license is required.
Note Personal carpentry tools are required for this job. Candidates with forklift operator’s license will be preferred.
