Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will close the Low-Income Affordable Housing Waiting List for applicants in need of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in our Family Communities on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 12:00 Noon. Applications for the 1 and 2 bedroom Family Communities must be received or post-marked no later than September 12, 2013.
The Low-Income Public Housing Waiting List will remain open for Applicants that need 1 or 2 bedrooms in our Elderly/Disabled Midrise building, 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms wheelchair-accessible, visual or hearing impaired apartment, and for Applicants that need 3 or more bedrooms in our Family Communities.
Beginning Thursday, October 10, 2013, the applications will only be distributed from 201 Granby Street - Suite 100A from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the Second Thursday of each month. Applications will also be available on the website at www.nrha.us.
All applications must be mailed by the U. S. Postal Services and will be accepted by fax as a Reasonable Accommodation ONLY.
