AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Residential Care Specialist – PT and FT
Provide hands-on direct care and assistance to consumers in all activities relating to daily living skills, including actively participating in the activities planned for the household and individual Consumers; actively assisting Consumers in performing all activities relating to daily living skills; assisting with administering medications; and maintaining a safe, sanitary and therapeutic environment for the Consumers.  Properly complete all required paperwork for each shift, including documenting the activities of and any related observations about each Consumer throughout the shift and completing incident reports prior to the end of the shift upon which the incident occurred.  Attend all meetings and trainings as assigned. Position requires schedule flexibility and reliable transportation.

Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; and six months related experience and/or training.

Senior Residential Care Specialist – F/T
Provide hands-on direct care and assistance to consumers in all activities relating to daily living skills, personal hygiene skills, and physical and social integration within a community based residential program.  Record and maintain petty cash expenditures, payroll records, and Medicaid Waiver sheets accurately as well as completes and reviews progress notes and incident reports daily.  Must be able to lift and/or move clients when necessary. Perform the following supervisory duties:  a. Provide direct supervision of Residential Care Specialists.  b. Assure staff follows all company policies and procedures.   Position requires schedule flexibility and reliable transportation.

Qualifications: Associates Degree; and one year related experience and/or training.

Residential Care ManagerFT
The Residential Care Manager position reports to the Director of Residential Services and is responsible for caring for and coordinating the care of the Consumers residing in 4 – 5 residential houses and for jointly supervising the Senior Residential Care Specialists and Residential Care Specialists.  Must be able to lift and/or move clients when necessary. Position requires schedule flexibility and reliable transportation.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; and 2+ years supervisory experience and/or related training.

Residential Services Director – FT
The Director is responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of high quality MR/DD/MH/SA treatment and habilitative services incorporating “best practices” established by the Associate Director of Operated Services.  This position directly supervises, trains and evaluates all Residential Care Managers. The Residential Director must be competent and able to effectively coordinate, monitor and deliver timely and appropriate care to Consumers, including psychiatric and medication services; and interact with Consumers, family members, Legal Authorized Representatives (LARs), Case Mangers, CAI Staff and other health team members while maintaining the highest professional standards. This position will require traveling to the group homes owned and operated by CAI.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Health and/or Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Psychology.  Licensed or license eligible.  Minimum of 2 years in Direct Care/Human Services, working with MR/DD/Autism patients with co-occurring mental health or substance abuse needs and or geriatric patients.  Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience with a minimum of 5 direct reports.
Bachelor’s Degree required.

Support Services Aide – FT and PT
Assists consumers in their homes with all activities relating to their daily living skills, personal hygiene, physical and social interactions in the community, and implementation of their Individual Service.  Experience with Autism Preferred.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. 6 months providing patient care with effective time management skills. Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience working with individuals with Autism preferred.


Quality Assurance & Compliance Supervisor, RN – FT
The QA & Compliance Supervisor will need to ensure that all Virginia Programs meet or exceed licensing standards, Medicaid and Federal regulations, HIPAA, CARF and all CAI policies and procedures.  This position works with QA staff, residential staff, home-based and day support staff as well as management to ensure regulatory compliance.  Must be a RN.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Accredited School of Nursing, Registered Nurse (RN) Current VA License in Good Standing, Minimum two (2) years nursing and Quality Assurance experience, First Aid/CPR required



Health Services Coordinator, LPN – FT
This position is responsible for assessing and implementing discharge plans for patients/consumers with a variety of health concerns including MH/MR and physical handicaps. Local travel may be required and may include nights and weekend on-call duty for emergencies and/or post-emergency follow-up.

Qualifications: must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; have valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing in the Commonwealth of Virginia; and have current CPR/FA Certification.
Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience, (4 years preferred), providing preventative and post-op nursing care of MR/DD/Autism patients with co-occurring mental health or substance abuse needs and or geriatric patients.
Minimum of 1 year of training experience either in a classroom environment or on-the-job training environment and must be a confident public speaker able to communicate to small groups ranging from 3 - 15 attendees, and occasionally able to speak to large groups. 


Recreational Therapy Coordinator – FT
Using a variety of techniques, the recreational therapy coordinator assists with the planning and coordination of recreational activities and programs for consumers.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology and documented experience working directly with individuals who have mental retardation or other developmental disabilities; Experience in writing of consumer assessments/service plans, Medicaid and DD Waivers.

Network & Computer Systems Administrator – FT
This position will install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.

Qualifications: College degree in computer technology, 3 to 4 years of experience in computer network support, experience with Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012, IIS and Microsoft SQL Servers, experience with Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 and experience with Microsoft Office (highly skilled in Excel, Word and Access).
