Coordinator (full time)

Hope House Foundation is currently accepting applications for a full time coordinator position. The coordinator position is a key leadership position within the organization. We currently have twelve service teams. Each team supports approximately 10 persons with developmental disabilities in their own apartments in the community. Service teams are located in Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach. The coordinator is the supervisor of the team and works out of an apartment office at the service location.

Hope House Foundation seeks a highly skilled, conscientious, and positive individual to lead a team and coordinate services at one of our Norfolk locations in the Ocean View neighborhood. The Coordinator provides orientation, training, and ongoing supervision to approximately 6 full time and 12 part-time employees, ensure persons with disabilities receive competent care & quality services; proven leadership skills & the ability to maintain a supportive, productive, and participatory workplace is required. Key position qualifications: (1) Strong time management & organizational skills; ability to multi-task (2) Effective written & verbal communication skills (3) Experience & maturity to lead others (4) Experience in residential services for adults with developmental disabilities or in a related field (5) Crisis management and behavioral support experience (6) Positive outlook, excited by and willing to lead change Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm, flexibility required. This is an on call position.

The schedule is: Monday through Friday 10am-6pm. Flexibility required

$32,376.15 annually with benefits
