POSITION SUMMARY

Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas following the established schedule and using the prescribed methods and procedures. Maintains the cleanliness of assigned equipment. Observes and reports to Supervisor defects in equipment, furniture and fixtures which need repair. Performs other work of the department as required.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English clearly and be able to follow oral and written
instructions.
2. Some mechanical aptitude is required to operate and maintain equipment.
3. Some experience in hospital environmental services is preferred.
