Associate Sales Manager: Portfolio Recovery Associates

Job Title: Associate Manager- Sales

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Norfolk, VA

Job Summary:

As a member of the Claims Compensation Bureau (CCB) team within PRA, the Manager of Sales and Business Development will be responsible for acquiring new clients as well as maintaining and growing existing client relationships. The Sales and Business Development Manager will collaborate with other members of the leadership team of CCB to support new programs and projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Call prospects about our services and negotiate deals.
•Sell CCB class action claims monitoring and filing services to securities firms and lead new sales initiatives into hedge fund and other institutional trading firms.
•Sell CCB class action services to prospects that have exposure in large anti-trust cases
•Occasional visits to existing clients or client prospects, &attending conferences for the purpose of presenting CCB services
•Analyze potential partner relationships for active and new clients.
•Manage client relationships
•Work with internal and external clients or potential clients to acquire the necessary data
•Calculate clients' recognized losses in order to estimate client's recovery
Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or related field preferred
•Minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience, cold calling
•MS Excel- intermediate
•Experience with a formal sales tracking software required, Sage ACT! preferred
•Flexibility and ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
•Effective organizational, communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills, with a high attention to detail.
•Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and other business math skills commonly used in the financial industry sector.
•Ability to build relationships and work effectively at all levels of an organization and to interact confidently with senior management
