Duties and Responsibilities
Interns work 12-14 hours per week and help with a variety of tasks from accounting and bookkeeping to working hands-on with young teens at testing for HIV/AIDS public events.

Work Hours: The office is open from 10:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday and from 11:00am-4:00pm on Saturdays. Intern/Volunteer will work 12-14 hours per week. We can work around school/work schedules.

Salary: This internship is not for pay but will provide you with great experience.

Misc: TeenAIDS-PeerCorps is a non-profit organization located in Norfolk, VA. It is all-volunteer and dedicated to educating teens about HIV/AIDS and to ending the stigma of HIV testing by holding live public testing events. You will leave with great experience and a valuable letter of recommendation from the Executive Director. It is also good for your resume and even for college credit. A variety of majors are applicable to this internship.
