POSITION SUMMARY

Promptly answers phones calls in a courteous and articulate manner. Schedules patient appointments and enters demographic and insurance information correctly. Demonstrates competency when having to contact patients to reschedule appointments. Enters typed, concise and clear messages without misspellings into patient electronic medical chart. Participates as a team member by performing additional assignments not directly related to the job description when workload requires and as requested by supervisor. Must be able to interact/work with all age groups.

Job Requirements

1. High School Graduate.
2. Minimum of two years experience having worked in a clinical setting preferred.
3. Must be able to communicate articulately, using correct grammar with no misspellings.
4. Should have a good knowledge of Medical Terminology and experience in medical office computer software
preferred.
5. Will be cross-trained to perform duties in the Front desk/ registration area.
6. Will be cross-trained to research/resolve billing issues.
