Duties and Responsibilities
Internship opportunities available with the City of Virginia Beach, Victim Witness Program: Office Aide; Special Project Aide; Program Aide (this is not an entry level position.)

Hours: Flexible hours, will work around your class schedule.

Salary: Volunteer, no pay.

Misc: If hired, Interns must complete an internship application and statement of certification for the background check. Criminal, driving and credit records are subject to search. Adverse information may preclude a student from participation in this program.

Candidate Requirements
Summary of Qualifications Ability to use a computer, knowledge of Microsoft Office Word. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to alphabetize and file. Ability to communicate with people in distress on the phone, as well as in person. Ability to greet people coming into the office with a caring attitude.
Desired Education: High School Diploma
Relevant Experience: Legal Assistant
