Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee media operations, including: video taping of funerals and memorial services, design and printing of displays, programs, storage and streaming of movies on website, and updates/additions to website. Assist with blogging, developing and distributing e-newsletter, managing and updating calendar events on the company website. Assist in maintaining the quality of the company's computer network. Making certain that it functions properly and contacting and engaging contractors to repair any problems or necessary upgrades or additions for the system. Monitoring performance of all Mac and other personal computing equipment within the company, developing and maintaining strategy for replacement and keeping software current. Working with General Manager to purchase necessary software and training staff on usage and determining hardware, software, audio/visual equipment needs for the company in addition to overseeing its installation. Overseeing media placements for events and other promotional opportunities. Coordinating mailings and managing e-mail database. It is our hope that internship will be coordinated with relevant coursework for possible credit.

Work Hours: Negotiable

Salary: Negotiable - opportunities for advancement.

Summary of Qualifications Motivated Second Year students with an interest in technology, media, and marketing.
Desired Education: Associate's Degree
Relevant Experience: Info Technology
